This website is currently being custom built to provide you with everything you need to know about getting around Sydney during the biggest event Sydney Harbour has ever seen – the International Fleet Review. It will include an interactive map with information about road closures, special event clearways, transport services and walking routes.
The website will be complete and ready for you to use on 9 September – add to favourites now then use it to plan how you’ll move around the city this October long weekend.
This October, Sydney Harbour will be transformed when more than 40 warships and 16 Tall Ships from around Australia and the world drop anchor for the International Fleet Review, 100 years since the first Royal Australian Navy ships arrived in Sydney.
The ships will arrive in time for the October long weekend, which will be packed full of exciting events for all the family including the chance to take a tour onboard an active warship, cruise the harbour on a majestic Tall Ship, see breath-taking aerial displays by RAAF Roulettes and helicopters, and witness the most incredible fireworks and light show Sydney has ever seen.
Now is the time to start planning what you want to see and do, and how you plan to get there.
More than 5000 extra train and bus services are running to help you get around Sydney during the nine-day event. Large crowds are expected so allow plenty of extra time to get around and home again.
